My recent stay at Hotel Thea Tacoma, Ascend Hotel Collection was a delightful experience. the staff was friendly and professional, ensuring a seamless check-in process despite a small hiccup with my reservation. the spacious and clean room, recently renovated with a stylish sink area, provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring Tacoma. the convenient location near I-5 made it easy to access downtown Tacoma within just 10 minutes, offering plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. While the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, the outside windows could use a good cleaning to match the rest of the property's standards. the lack of screens on the upper floor room made it challenging to keep the windows open for fresh air. The comfortable beds and abundance of pillows in the room ensured a restful night's sleep, complemented by the nice views from the window. the hotel's quiet ambiance, despite some brief noise from other guests, created a peaceful environment for relaxation. Overall, Hotel Thea Tacoma provided a pleasant stay with its spacious rooms and convenient amenities. the proximity to various points of interest such as LeMay America's Car Museum and Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium added to the appeal of the location. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated accommodation in Tacoma.
